Our group is actively involved in training junior doctors. We have an ongoing MRCOG training program which in an academic endeavour in Rangadore Memorial Hospital. This program involves training doctors who wish to sit for the Membership exam conducted by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, United Kingdom. We invite doctors who have completed MBBS for a 4 year training program, which will train them to sit for both Part 1 & 2 exams.
Doctors who have done their post graduate training in Ob/Gyn (DGO/DNB/MD/MS) can train with us for 1/ 2 years to take up Part 2 MRCOG exams.
The program emphasizes evidence and protocol based practice and involves hands on training with extensive exposure in general, high risk obstetrics and fetal medicine and all aspects of gynaecology including minimal access surgery, gynaecology, urogynaecology and reproductive medicine.
Regular academic sessions including interesting case discussions, updating guidelines, skill training and CTG discussions are part of the curriculum.
