Free clinics

The concept of free clinics comes from our vision to make quality care accessible to all strata of the society. We run dedicated free clinics with the aim to deliver the much needed obstetrics and gynaecology specialist services to our socio-economically disadvantaged women. These include antenatal care, office gynaecological procedures, infertility and cancer screening.

The World Health organization (WHO) in its millennium development goals says "Maternal mortality in India continues to be a major concern given the reduced social, cultural and economic status of Indian women that inhibits them from adequate access to health facilities. Institutional deliveries are a critical factor in determining maternal deaths. The NFH Survey II indicates that the institutional deliveries are low in the country (33.6%)"

India has one of the highest maternal mortality and morbidity rates with the balance tilted in favour of those who can afford health care. We aim to bridge this gap in health care delivery and contribute towards the reduction in maternal mortality and morbidity.

We offer obstetric and gynaecological services including surgeries at nominal rates at Sri Sringeri sharadapeetham charitable trust Hospital (Rangadore Memorial Hospital).

Free camps

We regularly conduct free general health check up and obstetrics and gynaecology health camps in association with various NGOs. The women who need further management are followed up in our free clinics.

Apart from these, we are also involved in public education programmes through health education talks in schools and colleges, addressing women in slums on health improvement and hygiene and conducting health check camps in semi urban and rural areas.
